On July 5th, led by college leadership and accompanied by staff from the experimental center, a comprehensive safety and hygiene inspection of all laboratories within the college was conducted before the summer vacation.

The inspection team focused on examining the storage standards and safety measures for the hazardous chemical reagent repository, the operation of experimental equipment, the implementation of safety protocols, the condition of firefighting facilities, and the overall environmental safety and hygiene of the laboratories. Regarding issues identified during the inspection, rectification suggestions were provided on-site with requirements for implementation within a specified deadline.

During the inspection, Lü Shunqing, Secretary of the College Party Committee, required laboratory directors to earnestly fulfill their safety responsibilities. He emphasized strengthening safety education, training, and daily management for all personnel under their purview (including faculty and students remaining on campus for experiments), improving emergency response capabilities, and arranging vacation duty schedules to ensure the safe operation of laboratories. Dean Pan Jian stressed that laboratory safety is the top priority of the college's work. Safety awareness must be integrated throughout all aspects of experimental teaching and research. Any problems discovered must be rectified immediately to ensure laboratory safety during the vacation. She specifically reminded faculty and students who need to work in laboratories during the break that they must strictly comply with safety operating procedures and implement personal safety responsibilities.
