The Food Science and Engineering program at Huangshan University has established a practice-centered curriculum framework, with core courses including Foundational Science Module, Engineering Technology Module and Design & Management Module.

Through systematic curriculum training, students will master core competencies in food R&D, engineering design, and innovation/entrepreneurship—enabling independent execution of novel food formulation design and functional validation, proficient application of engineering principles to optimize processing workflows and plan production lines, and development of innovation thinking that translates market insights into commercial implementation—culminating in integrated R&D-design-entrepreneurship capabilities that prepare graduates for critical roles in driving technological advancement and project management within the food industry.
