Tunxi District Agricultural Specialty Industry Science and Technology Special Commissioner Team: Boosting the Development of Huangshan City's Prepared Dish Industry
On August 30-31, Wu Yongxiang and Chen Fei, key members of the Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Special Commissioner Team—Tunxi District Agricultural Specialty Industry Science and Technology Special Commissioner Team—visited enterprises in Tunxi District, Xiuning County, and Huizhou District of Huangshan City to provide guidance on the development of the prepared dish industry. They were accompanied by relevant department heads, including Zhang Qinghua from the Economic Crops Station of the Agricultural Technology Center of Huangshan City's Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, and Gao Xia from the Municipal Agricultural Technology Promotion Center.
The team first conducted symposia and research sessions focused on further implementing the transformation of the Four New agricultural achievements to support the development of Huangshan City's prepared dish industry and increase village collective income. During the discussions, the team listened to reports on the current state of the prepared dish industry in Huangshan City, offered suggestions on how to enhance quality and efficiency, and clarified the service plan for 2023.
After the meetings, the team visited enterprises such as Huangshan City Huxingtang Taohualiushui Food Co., Ltd., Huangshan Jianda Food Processing Co., Ltd., and Huangshan Huimu Industrial Co., Ltd., providing on-site pulse-taking and diagnostic-style services. Dr. Wu Yongxiang offered immediate guidance on the production and processing of cooked stinky mandarin fish, optimization of sterilization processes for spicy celery, factory layout and equipment upgrades, and quality and safety control, achieving significant results. The team also reached a preliminary agreement on industry-academia-research collaboration with Huangshan Jianda Food Processing Co., Ltd. for the Development of Room-Temperature Preservation Technology for Vegetable Prepared Dishes.
The Tunxi District Agricultural Specialty Industry Science and Technology Special Commissioner Team, approved in 2022 as a provincial-level science and technology service platform by the Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology, is led by She Xinsong, Dean of the School of Life and Environmental Sciences at Huangshan University. Composed of professors and doctoral scholars from relevant disciplines, the team has trained over 50 farmers and enterprise personnel in areas such as stinky mandarin fish processing, edible fungi, and medicinal herbs. It has mentored more than 10 technical backbone personnel, transformed one technological achievement in stinky mandarin fish processing technology, enhanced producers' ability to apply new technologies, and increased the economic benefits of enterprises.
