For a long time, guided by the university’s overall strategic development principles, the School of Life and Environmental Sciences has continuously deepened and practiced local-university-enterprise cooperation. It actively supports and encourages faculty to engage in collaboration through initiatives such as the Huangshan City Technology Deputy program—where experts work onsite at enterprises—tackling key projects via the unveiling and undertaking mechanism, and co-building joint innovation bases. These efforts fully leverage the advantages of talent and technological innovation to contribute to local economic development.
