On-Campus Session for Anhui-Style Fermented Foods & Health Micro-Program Connects Students with Leading Tea Enterprise

HUANGSHAN, China – In an initiative to enhance local universities' service to regional industries and deepen university-enterprise collaboration in talent development, the School of Life and Environmental Science hosted a corporate information session for its food science students on November 7, 2025. The event, held in the Wenduan Building auditorium, featured Huangshan Xiaoguantea Tea Industry Co., Ltd.

The session was attended by Huang Gaofeng, Administrative & HR Director of Xiaoguantea, along with Wang Zhixia and Gao Qinqin from the company's Ready-to-Drink Tea R&D Department. Representing Huangshan University were Wu Yongxiang, Director of the Food Science and Engineering Program, counselor Wang Yu, students enrolled in the Anhui-Style Fermented Foods and Health micro-program, and undergraduates from various years in the food science major. Director Wu Yongxiang presided over the event.

Gao Qinqin initiated the presentations with a focus on tea characteristics and product development, offering a detailed introduction to different tea varieties and outlining the current landscape and future prospects of Xiaoguantea's ready-to-drink tea R&D efforts.

Following this, Administrative & HR Director Huang Gaofeng provided a comprehensive overview of the company's employment environment, corporate history, cultural values, and operational models. The session included a productive exchange during a Q&A segment, where Mr. Huang addressed student inquiries in detail.

This corporate outreach event provided students with access to high-quality internship and employment opportunities. It enabled them to gain direct insight into the talent needs of modern enterprises, helping them develop a more informed perspective on career planning and employment. Furthermore, the activity served to strengthen the connection and collaborative spirit between the School and the industry partner.
